Colorado State Capitol
Client:
Dunn + Kiley along with Cales Givens were hired by Governor Hickenlooper to create a master plan for the State Capitol grounds including a landscape connector over Lincoln Avenue linking the Capitol with the Lincoln Memorial Park. The design solution reflects the Neoclassical design of the State Capitol with formal lawns reflecting the building’s proportions. The landscape connector over Lincoln Avenue creates space for below grade parking structures and allows of the removal of the current on-grade parking on the Capitol grounds.
