Services: Appraisal/Expert Testimony Location: Weld County, Colorado THK Associates, Inc. represented seven landowners as an expert for HROP Law. The seven properties were being condemned by the Burlington North Santa Fe Railroad for a multi-modal container terminal rail facility. THK provided appraisals and assessments of damages, when applicable, for the seven properties. Five of the cases required depositions and three properties were tried by Commission or Jury. In each case, the award or settlement was significantly higher than what the BNSF Railroad initially offered.
